Training:

The Osteopathic Centre for Children in London is a world leading centre for paediatric Osteopathy, providing a prestigious advanced training programme for qualified Osteopaths. In 2017, Siobhan commenced the two year part-time diploma in paediatric osteopathy. Siobhan achieved a Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy DPO with the Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy. The DPO criteria required voluntary clinic hours of 45 days per year and attending seminars over six weekends per year. For those two years of training, Siobhan travelled to London each month, and volunteered in clinics with the Osteopathic Centre for Children in their clinics in Wandsworth and Shoreditch. Including an outreach clinic at a North London hospital as part of the multidisciplinary team in a neonatal intensive care unit, and the outpatient clinic. She gained valuable experience with paediatric patients, including prematurity, neurotypical and neurodivergent children, and also, paediatric cases with rare conditions. Siobhan worked alongside consultant paediatric osteopaths, tutors and colleagues.
